COLONY'S EARLY AVIATION
(Continuation.)
"It may not be interesting to recall that a good many years ago, Mr. Tse Tsan-Tai, then a young man in the Public Works Department designed on paper the airship "China", a reproduction of which has since appeared in many of the prominent illustrated journals. Mr. Tse Tsan-Tai is still in the Colony and should the scheme fructuate will have an opportunity not only of putting his confidence in the conquest of the air to the test, but of interesting his many Chinese friends.
The Agency for this projected flying school had been established during 1910 in Hongkong, but the big plans of its promoters never materialised. However, the following year saw some progress made towards actual flying demonstrations and local residents had their first view of "the conquest of the air."
